KLK*, I’m Moreno!

Founder & IKO-Certified Kitesurfing Instructor

Born and raised in Cabarete, I learned to kite at 13 with gear I managed to borrow from anyone willing to give me a shot. Fast forward to today, and I've safely taught hundreds of students from all corners of the world.

I don't like to overcomplicate things, so I don't have some super fancy theory or method.

With our lessons, you'll see there's nothing complicated about kitesurfing. You just need a patient, experienced instructor who's willing to go the extra mile and adjust the lesson to your personality and needs.

That’s exactly what you find with us.

When I'm not at the beach, I'm hanging out with my family, which mostly involves chasing after my toddler and wondering how someone so small can have more energy than a 30-knot day.

With 300+ windy days a year and perfect conditions, it’s not hard to see why thousands of people visit Cabarete to kiteboard. But what can you do when you’re not on the water?

PLENTY of things. Enjoy restaurants serving dishes made with fresh & local ingredients, hike hidden waterfalls, ride horses through the jungle, dance bachata until the sunrise, go river tubing, explore 5-million-year-old cave systems, or just relax at a beachfront bar with a cold Presidente.

One thing is for sure: you’re about to have an adventure of a lifetime!

There’s no better place to learn how to kite than Cabarete, the kitesurfing capital of the world.
